Today we had to make a poster or video about Richard Pearse, Jean Batten or Sir Keith Park and teach others about who they are and what they did. I chose Jean Batten here is my poster about her.

P.E Challenge

Today we had to make up a fitness circuit with the things in our house. We had to do the circuit and it had to go for 15 minutes. In the circuit were to put in skills that cover: Coordination, Balance, Strength, Speed and Power. I did 2 and a half minutes at each station and 30 seconds rest. Here is what I put in my circuit. Overall I think the workout was could but could have been better. The hardest part would have been the BURPEES.

Drawing Faces

We are learning to: Develop ideas by developing and revisiting visual ideas, in response to examples we have seen, and ideas that we can think of for ourselves. Here is my art.

Talking Points

We had to choose a "Talking Points" article from National Geographic I chose Sun 5: Let's Drive Across Antarctica To Bore A Hole. I answered questions on the slideshow and then did the activity, which was to made an ice sculpture with a cake tin or I used a mould and put flowers in it. With mine I added food colouring to it to make it look cooler. Here is the slideshow with my work.

The Ultimate Sandwich

WALT follow a brief by justifying the nature of an intended outcome
in relation to the need or opportunity. Use the criteria identified to
inform the development of an outcome and its evaluation.

The challenge today is to create the ultimate sandwich.  However
nothing is ever ‘that’ simple! The ultimate sandwich might not even
use bread!  The only thing in your way is imagination… and the fact
that it still must be edible.

I made a easy and simple toasted sandwich with ham and cheese
and I pressed an elephant cookie cutter into it.

1. healthiness of the ingredients ( 1 out of 2)
2. overall cost of manufacture (2 out of 2) 
3. eye appeal/ presentation (1.5 out of 2)
4. ease of handling (2 out of 2) 
5. and last, but not least… taste! (1.5 out of 2)

Today we had to do some drawing for Visual Arts. The drawing that we did was emotions. I did two emotions, I did the Silly face and the Sick/Tired Face. Here are my drawings.
